We are currently seeking candidates for the position of: Maintenance Technician

We are a high volume manufacturer of tight-tolerance washers and other small metal stampings. We provide stampings to the automotive, construction, agriculture and heavy truck industries.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor work as assigned by the supervisor, including loading, unloading, and moving materials
• Perform custodial duties, grounds, maintenance, and minor repair work
• Assist in performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the facility and equipment
• Makes minor repairs to heat treat equipment and/or install equipment as directed
• Knowledge of using standard shop tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
• Keep machinery, equipment and surrounding area in a clean condition at all times.
• Perform building repairs and general facilities maintenance
• Must track and keep thorough records of details of maintenance work performed.
• Perform other tasks as assigned
• Follow the direction of your Manager
• Learn and follow all Safety rules and Company policies.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old
• Must have good communication skills, attendance and be a team player
• Be able to squat, crawl, stand and bend for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to pass a physical and drug screen, lift 50 lbs.
• Must have forklift experience (Certified)
• 2 years general maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility

Compensation:

• $25-35/hr based on experience
• OT available

Please Note: These openings are expected to start as a 3-month probationary contract prior to converting full-time. For strong candidates, there is a chance to be hired directly as experiential requirements are met.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
